ClearTrading is an educational simulation. It is not a brokerage, an exchange, or an advisory service.
Starter Legacy LLC, a Texas limited liability company, is not registered as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, or financial planner with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, the CFTC, or any state securities regulator. Nothing on this platform is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security.
All trades are simulated with practice funds. No real securities are bought, sold, or held, no real money is deposited or withdrawn, and no brokerage account is created for you.
Lessons, prompts, coaching responses, market summaries, and any other content on the platform are provided for general education only and do not take into account your personal financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starter Legacy LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any market data, price, news summary, sentiment score, or AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or current. Market data may be delayed, simulated, or wrong. AI-generated content may be wrong. Verify anything before you act on it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starter Legacy LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or trading losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the platform — whether the claim is brought in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This includes losses you incur trading real money, whether or not your decisions were informed by anything you learned, read, or practiced on ClearTrading.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the platform will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for access in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Starter Legacy LLC from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, where Starter Legacy LLC is organised, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under them will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
ClearTrading may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
